- @WryneckStudio @choochus For podcasting I aim to record at ~ -12dB and then use a Peak Limiter at ~ +8 dB on the master for final mix #
- @WryneckStudio @choochus I record at ~ -12 on each track. Then, just before bounce down, I add between +8 & +12 of gain with a peak limiter #
- @WryneckStudio @choochus in the master track to raise the gain as close to unity as possible without going over. I find it lowers #
- @WryneckStudio @choochus the noise recorded during production and reduces dynamic range in post. Together I get clean audio which stands up #
- @WryneckStudio @choochus nicely to listening in a noisy environment such as in a car or train. #
